I am a big believer in reusing pieces, especially if they are sitting forlorn one step to the scrap yard! This aquarium base is SOLID! Not the thin metal you would get today! I simply cleaned the metal, primed it and sprayed a fresh coat of white. I then got a nice piece of pine and stained it for the top. It has a Parsons outline and is the kind of piece that works anywhere! It has been a console table, sofa table, bookcase etc. for me!
