I am not anti Valentines day but I am certainly not pro 1-800- pay-a-fortune-for-stale-red-flowers either. My motto with babies, weddings and love in general is that it is homemade. May sound cheesy, but I am sticking to it! As we immerse oursleves with online everything I think it is a sweet gesture to make something small. It shows time and effort were made. Being that I have no one special person this year, I made a bunch of valentines to drop on doorsteps, and through mail slots for a little bit of friendship love.
Happy Valentines day!
Work Done: Used cardstock from an old high quality drawing pad and cut into squared. Cut out hearts from a left over print of the Sistine Chapel, used color theory paper from pops of color. Added metallic pen outlining and ink handwriting.
